My Gigi Betty is no longer with us but I think of her every day. How she lit up a room, her love of fashion and family.
How loving her brought me here.

I am Nicole Will, the Founder of willGather and Gigi Betty co in honor of my Grandma. My Gigi Betty moved in with my family when I was younger and as a family, we did life together and cared for her. My mom was a caregiver before I even knew what that word meant or would mean to me. Along with my family we got to see what life looks like as you age and the journey it takes a family on, the challenges we face, how we overcome them, and how we build a community of support. As time would pass we would watch her live out her legacy and then I began to live out mine.

All around me, I saw people caring for people- and in those conversations realized that in our shared experiences there is so much richness, knowing we are not alone. When we are side by side sharing our hopes and our challenges we can come together and we willGather together because anything is possible.

We'll always hold a place in our hearts for those we've loved and cared for along the way- we will carry them with us by passing along more goodness. Looking around it taught me that in the collective, in coming together I saw strength, dedication, joy, challenge, sadness, and hope. But I know for me when I feel overwhelmed or alone, I need to reach out and have a reminder that I am known and that I am understood.
For caregivers and care partners, the challenges that we've overcome- they're meant to be shared. To have a tangible reminder of all that we've overcome and in the quietness of our days and moments, we can be reminded that we are in this together, that someone is thinking of us and we are sharing this path. Whether you are a caregiver, whether you are loving a caregiver, or have been a caregiver- we might feel like those days are long and as we come together as a collective, know that we are a powerful force for good.
I am a passionate advocate and dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our aging community by equipping older adults, family caregivers, and eldercare professionals with valuable information and resources. At my core, I'm a collaborator and cheerleader for others by sharing the good work that they are doing in the world, and all for my favorite group of people- our elders.
As the founder of willGather, I continue my advocacy to enlighten and expand people’s awareness and knowledge of leaders and initiatives in the care economy space. I am the creator, host, and producer of the willGather Podcast: Navigating the World with Your Aging Loved One.
Gigi Betty co. by willGather was created in honor of my Grandma, Gigi Betty- a boutique gift shop raising funds and awareness for family caregivers. As a collective, we are a powerful force for good.
I have over 20 years of experience in aging and eldercare services. Growing up, my grandma came to live with my family and became one of my closest friends. Inspired by this special relationship and passion, I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services: Social Gerontology. Thank you for joining us in raising our voices for good!
